Graduate Student
Eleanor is a 5th year PhD student in the Mayer lab studying the surface chemistry of porous silicon. She received her B.S. in chemistry from the University of Kansas where she worked in the Jackson lab. In addition to her lab research at Yale, Eleanor has been a part of the ACS Graduate Student Symposium Planning Committee, and has also contributed to the Yale Clean Energy Conference. She has greatly enjoyed collaborating with other researchers through the Center for Hybrid Approaches in Solar Energy to Liquid Fuels. As she looks to the next step of her career, she is excited to use her scientific background to solve problems associated with climate change.
